Indivisible is a grassroots movement of local groups that began in 2016 with a guide to pressuring members of Congress. About 300 groups now meet across California. They canvass, call senators, show up at town halls and turn out for No Kings days. Each group runs itself, sets its own priorities and picks its own fights.
The group directory lists every group that has opted in to the network, searchable by name or county. The Regions page shows the eight regions and the coalitions where groups already work together. If there is no group near you, indivisible.org can help you start one.
Local groups are the movement. The Indivisible California State Network connects them. It publishes this site and a regular newsletter, runs working groups open to every member, hosts events and briefings on Zoom, keeps shared resources, and brings groups together for sign-on letters and call-ins when something urgent comes up. Participation is opt-in, and the network supports groups rather than directing them.
Two other statewide doors are easy to confuse with this one. Indivisible CA StateStrong works on state legislation in Sacramento, and the State Leaders Call is a call every two weeks for people leading local groups. Three doors, one Slack explains which is which.
